While every author endeavors to produce a finished book that is free from mistakes and typographical errors, the self-publishing industry and the faster turnaround times expected today have resulted in proofreading and copy editing being much less thorough than was common fifty years ago.

One of the advantages of the e-reader and print-on-demand formats is that I may correct an error as soon as I become aware of it, and it will be corrected in subsequent purchases.
